Just like the Beatles did in the 60’s, digital media & the internet have revolutionized the world of music today - changing the way we experience Media forever - including the way we discover, listen to, and buy great music, as well as attend live concert events.
Yet the music industry is still being controlled by the Mega Corp-Media-Conglomerate-owned Major Record Labels, dictating what music they think should be heard, and which bands get the spotlight - or which ones are shelved and buried – signing bands to lopsided 360 contracts, paying bands fractions of pennies on the dollar for streaming, charging bands recoupables against all label expenditures, taking publishing and ownership of the songs so the artists can't even perform their own songs without permission, and still stealing the lions share (80-90%) of the revenue for themselves.
